Moving

A well-scary moment! freezing too, And, she's on the move again...but thankfully this time no cranes or trucks, just a days drive on the waters.Need a calm day tho, as it seems even 12 ton(or is it 14) narrow-boats can get blown out of control by the winds.Glad I'm not steering!

Winterton

More Dancing!And some rare sun.

Dancing with Bluebells

And tho these bluebells are way underground still, look forward to seeing these in Spring, hoping to moor up by the woods at Salhouse Broad.

End of day....

And at last, after a year of not being so well, I begin to feel better, and can walk easier without that black stick, walk on the beach, begin to dream up how to bring some of my hopes and ideas to life.......Its nearly November, winter on the way, a good time perhaps to rest, think, build up and strengthen, and prepare for the activity of Spring, planting...seeing things grow at long last! What a journey. Was good to be here.

Midwinter's Day

Jil arrives, with Solstice gifts and smiles.

Winter has arrived

3pm, nearly dark, Sunday, early November. So cold I wanted to stay under the quilt all day, but did this instead, Jil managed to cheer me up and drag me out there, ginger wine helped.

Later, Halloween

Much later on in the Eve now, indoors, shaky eggs and drums etc out now. I know, I admit it, I'm still a little bit of a poser, but it was good fun!

Halloween Shed Party

Looking a tad winter-worn already, I think, even tho its only October!More rain, so no fireworks, but pumkins, baked apples and wonderfully cerenaded by the Norfolk Broads-friends' Ukelele Band.

Keeping warm on Jil's Boat

Jil's beautiful narrow Boat, in its new moorings few miles down the road-soon to be on the move again! I get to be tiller girl-but will need a few lessons first, its 50 foot long!

Full Moon Party

August, mini Green Man Camp in suffolk, probably one of the best festivals I've been to! Just 500 of us, a long week-end, set up with friends, Jil's tent did just fine....the music was some of the best I'd danced or listened to, gypsy beats and ska-fusion, Gadjo....old school, friendly, intimate, highlight of the summer!

Valentines Day 2008

and, Jil's birthday...London, the Vauxhall, masked caberet, the Lady on the door, insisted we have fun, darlings,_ushering us to the Mask-Makers table, full of feathery fluffy bits, pens, sticky bits etc...guess she, like me , had been brought up on blue peter(we made ours earlier with the girls at their flat, could see whole of london from up there it seemed!).....I was still on a stick, dosed up to the eyeballs, cool journey down to london, champagne, tapas...whooshed off to dinner, more bus and tube.....bit of a bop, amazing Caberet,an amazing and special Time!

Jil's a bit nuts!

friend Nina filled a wheel barrow with wood, fire, chargrilled veggies, seriously good food, but think there was something in it, to be honest!

Midsummer Bender

Summer Solstice

What a couple of well-dodgy looking people!!
Ha-hah! fooled ya-its me and Jil, in her friends' garden, Midsummers eve,and more than a little madness. There was a monsoon later. The roof of the bender caved in under the pressure, bivvy bags filled with water, made a run for it, inside and dry just in time to see the sunrise over the sea. Beautiful.

Sun Bathing

Winterton beach, high summer....August.Too windy to light stove,so bought coffee from the cafe-hut, to warm up while I watched mad tourists swim.Lovely.Well......ha ha !

Summer morning

North Norfolk, August, still waiting for summer and to try out Jil's new tent.

Nearly Imbolc !

So then, today...the last day before tomorrow finally comes....the beginning of the end of this winter, and the beginning of the start of the Spring.Imbolc! Cold, snowy, windy...I emerge, hoping desperately for some Sun...and thought I'd put some pics up for you!
